As the visionary director of the UrbanKind Institute, a pioneering think-and-do tank, Dr. Bey leads a dedicated team in crafting policies, practices, and programs that prioritize kindness towards urban communities and their environments.
Drawing on his rich background as a former high school educator, Dr. Bey embodies a steadfast commitment to mentorship, having positively influenced numerous young lives. Beyond his role at the UrbanKind Institute, he serves as the Director of Research for The Pittsburgh Study, an initiative of Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh dedicated to dismantling barriers to childhood thriving.
